While we do our best to produce quality products, these items are handmade and uniquely their own. Because they are handmade, pieces my contain small flaws like micro bubbles. By purchasing this item, you understand the risks to any original personal item put in a piece should something go wrong or be damaged. We will do our very best to prevent this, and all inclusion items will be handled with the highest of care.
- What is “resin”? How long does it last? •
Epoxy resin is a material we use in our art pieces to seal and paint, as well as preserve items and cast 3D resin sculptures. To create our pieces, we work with resin in liquid form which then cures (or hardens) into a solid piece. Resin cures rock-hard and is similar to the finish and appearance of glass with the feel of acrylic. It is a strong and durable material that will essentially last “forever”.
Epoxy resin is sensitive to UV rays and will gradually amber/yellow over time. This is a part of the natural aging process of resin. Keeping it away from sunlight and heat will slow down this process. Ambering is to be expected and cannot be prevented or fixed.
- Placing Your Order •
Please add a note to your order at checkout that includes what items you would like to place inside the memorial piece. After you place your order, you will receive an email from us regarding your order. This will allow you to discuss further your exact requests for your memorial pyramids and pet statues. Please add this email address (info.foralways@gmail.com) to your contact list to avoid having it sent to the Junk or Spam folder of your inbox. When sending items to us please make sure that they are sent with tracking! DO NOT put them in a regular envelope with no tracking. This is to prevent lost packages! Please double check your address, We WILL NOT be responsible for shipping to an address you are no longer at or to the wrong address on file.
Pyramids and pet statues are high demand products therefore creation times may take longer. Orders will be completed in the order they are received. This process will not be rushed. When dealing with personal items, we will take extreme patience and care to ensure the satisfaction of every customer.
- Creation and Shipping •
Once a design is confirmed, the magic will begin! NOTE: Each layer requires 24 hours to set. Therefore, your item will take up to 2-3 weeks to make and cure before item can be shipped. Timing depends on how many layers you would like. This cure time is non-negotiable as it guarantees your item is fully hardened.
We cannot create perfection. Everything we create is handmade and imperfections are to be expected. Our goal is to encapsulate your items and transform them into art. We will make the best of what we are given and create a unique and original piece designed just for you.

There are several aspects that are completely outside of our control and we are not liable for: (1) variations in resin products when casting items in resin; and (2) how quickly your resin piece ambers/yellows.
Because your pyramid is handmade, each one is unique and may have slight flaws, unlike “perfect” factory made items. *Some examples of imperfections may include but not limited to micro bubbles, layer shimmers and layer lines. These imperfection can be more visible in certain light as well as when product it tilted as it may make these imperfections more apparent. However, we strive to produce quality items that make you feel excited to see them; strict attention to detail is given to each individual piece as it is being created.
Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, colour samples may appear differently on different monitors or screens. We do our best to accurately portray items and their colors, but we cannot guarantee that the colour you see on your monitor or device screen is an accurate representation of the true colour.
PLEASE NOTE: We will do our best to carefully store your items and make sure they are undamaged before being placed in the pyramid. Photos will be copied, and the original mailed back along with the finished product. When purchasing this item, you understand the risks that any original personal item put in the pyramid could go wrong or be damaged because of the resin. We will do our very best to make sure this doesn’t happen. Personal remains and or items will be handled with the highest care.
- Shipping •
The buyer is responsible for paying the shipping for personal items shipped to For Always Resin Keepsakes. All orders will be shipped via Canada Post and will be packed securely so that no damage arises. Once the final product is shipped, For Always Resin Keepsakes is not responsible for damages or delays that occur during transit.
- How do I take care of my resin art? •
Keep out of sunlight, preferably in a shady room or area. Keep away from heat. Resin will yellow when exposed to UV rays and excessive heat. Treat your piece like a piece of glass —avoid scratching or dropping it. Avoid using abrasive chemicals, such as acetone. To clean, wipe down with a microfiber towel and use car polish or a colourless, gentle oil (mineral oil, coconut oil, silicone oil) to restore the shiny surface.
